Starbucks (Seattle) is planning its newest and largest Roastery store yet. The next location for the brand will be a 43,000-square-foot, four-level store on Chicago’s Michigan Avenue, which is currently a Crate & Barrel (Northbrook, Ill.) store. The next largest Roastery store is slated to open in China at 30,000-square-feet in size.

The Roastery store is expected to open in 2019 and will be the company’s sixth Roastery store. Like the others, it will function as an interactive experience for customers to see rare, small-batch Reserve beans as they are roasted, brewed and packaged, reports Chicago Tribune.

The company’s Executive Chair Howard Schultz described the Roastery concept: “It's not a coffee store, the essence of it is the theater and romance and something so experiential.”
