Tanger Outlets (Greensboro, N.C.), said it is continuing is diversification efforts by expanding the number of home goods retailers at its centers in the U.S. and Canada. The moves include the addition of Williams Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, Le Creuset, RH, Design Within Reach (DWR), and Casper outlets at its open-air shopping centers.

“Broadening our retailer mix is a crucial part of our commitment to elevating the shopping experience for our guests and strengthening our value for retailers and consumers alike,” Stephen Yalof, President and CEO Tanger, said in a news release. “Expanding our partnerships with retailers in the home category provides a more diverse selection of premium retailers for our existing shoppers. Importantly, we believe it can also help us attract an even wider audience to our centers and deliver increased traffic and retailer sales.”

The company points to its centers in San Marcos, Texas, and Riverhead, N.Y., as examples of this strategy in action, with the recent addition of RH, Design Within Reach (DWR) and Casper outlets at both.

Looking ahead, Tanger said it plans to continue diversifying its offerings through partnerships with other brands, including additional home furnishing leaders, digitally native retailers, restaurants and experience providers.

Tanger fully or partially owns and/or manages a portfolio of 37 centers, including one center under development near Nashville, Tenn. Its operating centers, which have roughly 14 million square feet, are in 20 states and in Canada, and are leased to over 2,00 stores operated by more than 600 brands.
