Target Opening New NY Store

Target Corp. (Minneapolis) has signed a 30-year lease at a two-story building in Manhattan’s East Village neighborhood in New York. The new location will be a small-format store divided into two floors, reports the New York Business Journal.

This November, the Manhattan neighborhood of Tribeca will also see a new Target that includes a Chobani café. There are 12 existing Target stores in New York. The company has spent the past two years opening small-format Targets in cities like Chicago, Boston, San Diego and San Francisco.
