The Tempur-Pedic brand has completed the design of its first store, at the Natick Mall in Natick, Mass. The retail concept and experiential design platform was created in partnership between Dash Design and The Grayson Co.

The Natick Mall location features a white, convex porcelain-tiled facade with bamboo wood paneling and back-lit signage. The 3700-square-foot space houses cozy pods to showcase 12 beds from four different collections. Each of these pods creates a vignette complete with video monitors, white lacquer shelving units and blackened metal and glass encasements for showcasing a curated selection of decorative objects and additional products, such as pillows, sheets, stuffed animals, slippers and home fragrance.

“Our goal was to make the process of shopping for a mattress interactive and based on guided discovery,” says Jhipo Hong of Dash Design. “The store design is engaging, comfortable and responsive to customer’s wants and needs.”
