Tickets on Sale for 62nd Annual Shop! Awards Celebration

Retail store designers, visual merchandisers, design firms, in-store marketing agencies and suppliers to the retail environments industry will gather again on June 10 from 6-8:30 p.m. in Chicago for the 62nd annual Shop! Awards Celebration, featuring the new Gallery of Winners.

Shop! Environments Association, the global trade association dedicated to enhancing retail environments and experiences, will showcase the winners from its three competitions: Design Awards, OMA (Outstanding Merchandising Achievement) Awards and Global Awards. During the celebration party the association also will announce the big overall winners including Store of the Year, Display of the Year, Visual Presentation of the Year and Fixture of the Year.

For more than 60 years, the association has been recognizing the industry’s top retail design and in-store marketing and POP displays during the annual celebration at the GlobalShop at RetailX show. This is the 62nd year recognizing OMA winners, 49th year honoring the Design Awards winners, and the tenth year honoring the Global Awards, which recognizes the best of the gold winners from 2019 global competitions.

“Shop! is proud to manage the industry’s longest-running awards competitions,” said Todd Dittman, Executive Director. “As we’ve joined with other associations through the years, we’ve had the opportunity to recognize a wider array of design projects within the industry and around the globe. It is always exciting to see the creativity and talent our members bring to this competition. We are looking forward to presenting the winners again this year during our annual Celebration, where ticketholders can expect a completely new type of event.”

This year’s awards celebration will feature the Gallery of Winners, a unique presentation of all winners from the three competitions shared in a festive environment with live music, signature cocktails and food. Gold, silver and bronze award-winning projects will be prominently displayed.

Tickets to the event are on sale now. The Shop! Awards Celebration with Gallery of Winners will be held from 6:00-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 in the Grand Ballroom, McCormick Place, Chicago. Tickets purchased before May 22 are $150 ($125 for Shop! members) or $175 ($150 Shop! members) after May 22 and at the door.
