Fitchburg, Wis.-based construction company Tri-North Builders added David Lawson as vp of west coast operations at its California office. Lawson comes with 19 years of construction management expertise in both commercial and retail projects.

Lighting manufacturer Hera Lighting (Norcross, Ga.) hired Julie Rafalowsky as a customer service representative.

Tension fabric manufacturer Moss Inc. (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) appointed Daniel F. Koch, Jr. to vp of retail environments. Prior to joining Moss, Koch served as senior manager of business development at Lorton, Va.-based Impressions Marketing Group (IMG).

New York-based Lifestyle-Trimco, manufacturer of mannequins, forms, seasonal décor and displays, hired Sean Sager as creative director. With over 17 years experience, Sager has held senior visual positions for some of America’s largest retailers.

New York-based luxury jewelry retailer Tiffany & Co. plans to open 17 new company-operated stores by the end of January 2012. Six locations are expected in the Americas, three in Europe and eight in the Asia-Pacific region.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opened its third location in Reno, Nev., making it the chain’s 169th location nationwide.

Lighting manufacturer Martin Professional Inc. (Aarhus, Denmark) established a dedicated project sales department, in which Brad Haynes will head the department as senior project manager. He has served as a regional sales manager and product manager for Martin since 2006.
