Disney Attractions vp of store design now has worldwide responsibilities

The Walt Disney Co. announced the promotion of Tony Mancini to Vice President of Global Retail Store Development, with responsibility for both Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. In his expanded role, Mancini will be responsible for retail development worldwide, including Disney properties in Orlando, Anaheim, Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo and throughout the world. Mancini's previous title was Vice President of Retail Store Development for Walt Disney Attractions, with primary responsibility for Disney World in Orlando. Mancini, a retail design veteran, joined Disney in 1996 after serving as head of store design for Herman's World of Sporting Goods, which went into bankruptcy that year.
