Tumi Unveils New Store in NY

Luggage and accessories retailer Tumi (South Plainfield, N.J.) has opened a new store in New York’s Flatiron District. The 1800-square-foot location marks the brand’s ninth freestanding location in the city, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

It’s also the first to employ a new merchandising concept, whereby product lines are organized by category, rather than by collection. The store features a wall of accessories and a dedicated travel salon within the building’s landmark setting, which includes exposed brick walls and columns.
