Utility Inc. Hires Alex Vera

New design director comes from Callison

Utility Inc., Seattle-based full-service design agency and fabrication house, has appointed Alex Vera as design director.

Vera, who most recently worked at Callison Architecture (Seattle), has more than six years of multi-disciplinary design experience in the U.S., European and Asian markets, including Harrods of London, Royal Caribbean International and the Beverly Center (Los Angeles, Calif.).

Utility, which hired Christian Davies as vp and creative director earlier this year, has worked with The North Face, Woolrich, Power Bar, Smith, Salomon, W.L Gore, Teva, Dockers, Clarks, Four Seasons Resorts at Hualalai, Atom Films, ZAAZ and Wyland Galleries.
