During the next two years, Zara will undertake at least 30 projects (new stores, relocations and enlargements) in the U.S. That information was included in the just-released 2022 results for the fast-fashion retailer’s parent company, Inditex (Artexio, Spain).

Zara, which operates just under 100 stores in the U.S., says work on its locales will take place in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Austin, Texas, and Las Vegas.

“The excellent results of 2022 show the strength of our business model and its ability to move towards the next level of development in which our fashion proposition, the experience of our customers, our commitment to sustainability and the talent of our teams will continue to be key,” Inditex CEO Óscar García Maceiras said in a news release.

In addition to Zara, Inditex operates Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home, and Uterqüe. For the year, its sales totaled $34.5 billion, up 17.5 percent over a year earlier, and its net income increased 27 percent, to $4.3 billion.
