7-Eleven Buys Wilson Farms

Convenient store chain acquires 188 locations

7-Eleven (Dallas, Texas), one of the largest operator of convenience stores, bought convenience food retailer Wilson Farms (Williamsville, New York ). The purchase of the 188 locations is expected to be finalized in June, with all the stores being changed over to the 7-Eleven name by the end of 2011.

7-Eleven operates about 39,000 locations worldwide, with more than 8000 in the U.S.
