Williams-Sonoma Inc. (San Francisco) posted a 9.5% increase in same-store sales for its first quarter, building on last year’s Q1 leap of 40.4%.

Revenues of $1.89 billion marked an 8.1% increase compared to a year ago. That performance was driven by strong growth from Pottery Barn and West Elm, with those brands registering same-store jumps of 14.6% and 12.8%, respectively.

With the positive report, Williams-Sonoma Inc. affirmed its long-term guidance of mid-to-high single digit annual net revenue growth. It’s expecting to reach $10 billion in revenue by fiscal 2024.
