Wilson Expands into Physical Retail

Wilson is best known for its sports equipment.

Wilson (Chicago) is making the move into the physical space and announced it plans to open stores in key markets including New York, Chicago, Shanghai and Beijing, according to a company press release.

Wilson also said it has built an “Advisory Staff” network comprising more than 100,000 creatives, coaches and athletes to coincide with its launch of its Wilson Sportswear apparel line, which features athleisure and sports-related clothing. New items will be available on a bi-weekly basis with special collaborations planned for the future.

Wilson is best known for its sports equipment and accessories like tennis rackets, volleyballs and basketballs, among others.
