Asda (Leeds, England) is filling 150 positions for their new specialist “greengrocer” roles in U.K. stores, according to Retail Gazette. This new role will hire both new employees as well as existing staff. Greengrocers will receive tailored training for quality standards, product availability, presentation and customer support.

This position comes as part of a £9 million investment in its produce offerings. The store wishes to invest in providing customers with a higher quality produce experience. In addition to greengrocers, the store is reportedly also creating new fixtures and designs to help improve the stores aesthetics and presentation.
