EuroShop 2023 to Offer Guided Retail Tech Tours

90-minute tours will focus on customer experience, big data and the “smart store”




(PRESS RELEASE) At EuroShop 2023, The World’s No.1 Retail Trade Fair (February 26 – March 2, 2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany), guided tours for trade visitors will again be offered in the Retail Technology Dimension. These highly sought-after tours will be conducted by Messe Düsseldorf together with renowned retail expert Joachim Pinhammer and will showcase a selection of the technology innovations at the trade show.

This year, there will be two tours daily on four trade shows days, one in German and one in English. Participants will meet at the Retail Technology Stage in Hall 6, Stand I/61. Spots can be reserved online at Each “Guided Innovation Tour” will last 90 minutes. After a brief introduction presenting the industry’s latest trends, the visitor groups will visit the booths of a total of 10 exhibitors to learn more about their respective products and solutions. The focus will be on Customer Experience, Big Data and Smart Store.

Customer Experience

Bütema will present the ‘Retail Assistant Kira’ – a chat bot that addresses end consumers for the first time. Improveeze will offer a wide variety of tools including ‘phygital’ devices that optimize selling performance and maximize additional sales.

Big Data


Ariadne Maps will present a Software-as-a-Service platform (SaaS) that provides real-time shopper analytics for offline retail. The Parsifal AI platform of the G2K Group provides completely standardized and scalable solutions covering a wide variety of areas of the Customer Journey and smart store management with valuable use cases.

The solution of Ydistri SE uses analytics to optimize inventories and optimize stocks by shifting them among stores. Sensormatic’s ShopperTrak Analytics Suite pools data from various sources and provides retailers with the information they need to manage their stores more effectively.

Smart Store

ERIS (Effective Retail Intelligent Scanner) by Adapta Robotics is a smart, human-controlled retail robot driven by AI. It detects discrepancies in in-store pricing, issues with out-of-stock merchandise and non-compliance with planograms. Shopic will present solutions for smart shopping carts and the digitalization of food retail stores thereby transferring the benefits of online retail to physical stores. The device based on computer vision converts each standard cart into a Smart Cart. Trigo will launch a new stock management system based on the data supplied by its cameras and sensors. WebLib will offer digital solutions to connect rooms and turn Wi-Fi into a safe marketing and selling tool: e.g. portals, order, payment.
