RGLA names director of client services; Big Red Rooster relocates; True Visual teams with Barrango

RGLA Inc./Robert G. Lyon & Associates Inc. (Schiller Park, Ill., design firm) has named Nancy Newport as director, client services.

Electronic Theatre Controls Inc. (ETC, Middleton, Wis., entertainment and architectural lighting company) has promoted Mike Griffith to director of sales, overseeing ETC architectural and entertainment sales in the Americas and Australia.

AdSpace Networks Inc. (Burlingame, Calif., provider of networked digital video advertising displays in malls and theaters) has hired John Henderson as senior vp, advertising sales and marketing. Henderson heads up AdSpace's New York office.

MBH Architects (Alameda, Calif., and Newport Beach, Calif., architecture firm) has hired the following at its Alameda office: John Schmid, senior project manager; Olivier Santoni-Costantini and Mike McKeon, project managers; Wang Chan, Debra Keller and Christopher Eisner, job captains; Mimi Fabila, Irene Yang, Dragana Urosevic, Rey Acosta, Christy Ortins and Andrea Redewill, drafters; Alex James, PC technician; and Carol Averill, accounting department. At the firm's Newport Beach office, new staffers are: Gustavo Grad, project manager; Iscolina Delgado, designer; Avtar Singh and Roshni Patel, drafters; Catherine Van Orsdel, administrative assistant; and Michelle Malone, office manager.

Warrington Fire Research Group Ltd. (Warrington, U.K., fire-safety tester of building materials and assemblies) has hired Amal Tamim as its business development manager, North America. Tamim is based in Montreal.

Cass Calder Smith Architecture (San Francisco architecture firm) has designed the Delica rf-1 gourmet delicatessen in San Francisco's Ferry Building Marketplace for Rock Field, Japan's largest prepared-food company. The 2000-square-foot shop is Rock Field's first location outside of Japan.

True Visual Inc. (San Francisco manufacturer of visual merchandising products) has reached an agreement to represent Barrango Inc. (South San Francisco provider of custom and decorative products) in the U.S. retail sector.

W.A.C. Lighting (Garden City, N.Y., lighting manufacturer) has named Michael Carr & Associates of Glen Rock, N.J., as its sales agency for New Jersey.

The Echeverria Design Group (Coral Gables, Fla., design firm) provided interior design, space planning and documentation services for Patou Fine Art, a new 1200-square-foot showroom for design professionals at the Design Center of the Americas in Dania Beach, Fla.

Mannington Commercial (Calhoun, Ga., flooring firm) has started a return program for its carpet, resilient and ICore samples. All samples sent to customers will be accompanied by a postage-paid return shipping label and packing instructions. Samples returned in good condition will be reused; those that can't be reused will be recycled.
