Haggar division names senior vp; Iowa mall to undergo $20 million renovation; Nanonation teams with SBC on touring exhibit

Haggar Clothing Co. (Dallas) has promoted David Yarbrough to senior vp of the Horizon Group, its menswear private-brand division.

Permlight Products Inc. (Tustin, Calif.) has hired Wayne Kiser as purchasing and production manager.

Momentum Group (Raleigh, N.C., project development firm) has named Wanda Lamb managing director, Atlanta operations, at its new Atlanta office.

MICE DisplayWorks Portland (Portland, Ore., producer of trade show exhibits and corporate and retail environments) has hired Heidi Heick as brand director.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC, Washington, D.C.) has introduced the new LEED® Green Building Rating System for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI). The new system addresses such performance areas as: the selection of sustainable tenant space; energy-performance optimization, including lighting and lighting controls; resource utilization for interior building systems and furniture; and indoor environmental quality.

Calef's Country Store (Barrington, N.H.) has launched a web site at www.calefs.com.

The Festival Cos. (Los Angeles real estate advisory firm and shopping center developer) has purchased Westdale Mall in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, from The Rouse Co. (Columbia, Md.). Festival plans to invest $20 million to update and expand the mall. Those redevelopment plans are being drawn up by MCG Architects (Cleveland), the original designer of the 25-year-old mall.

Callison Architecture (Seattle) provided architectural services, master planning, graphics and interior design services for the recently completed renovation of the Aldwerwood Mall in suburban Seattle. Developed and owned by General Growth Properties (Chicago), the updated mall includes new retailers and restaurants, a theater complex, a remodeled Nordstrom and two parking garages.

Nanonation (Lincoln, Neb., software company) designed and developed the software platform and technology services for a traveling promotional tour that touted the DSL and wireless services offered by SBC (San Antonio) at college football games this fall.
