Myer Melbourne

Aussies got their wish in 2006 for a home-country themed set of windows when the Australian classic children’s tale “Wombat Divine” was brought to life at Myer Melbourne department store. Six windows depicted Wombat and his animal friends auditioning for the annual Nativity play.

Below the main stage, animated Christmas elves were busily constructing the play’s scenery, costumes and props. Author Mem Fox narrated each scene, which was broadcast over six individual sound systems synchronized to the corresponding stage action.
