Founder Jil Sander is returning as creative director of the Jil Sander brand. The announcement follows the news that the company was parting ways with Raf Simons, its creative director since 2005, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

The brand was founded in Hamburg in 1968. Sander left in 1999, after selling 75 percent of her company to Prada Group. She made a brief return in May 2003 but left the company again a short time later.
