Sears Canada Ceo Steps Down

Sears Canada Inc. (Toronto) announced President and CEO Ronald Boire will be stepping down from his current position. Boire previously held the role of interim ceo in fall 2014, and was named ceo last January.

The company has begun searching for a replacement.

Women’s Wear Daily reports that Barnes and Noble Inc. (New York) announced separately that Boire would start serving as its ceo beginning Sept. 8.
