Stein Mart’s Ceo Resigns

Stein Mart (Jacksonville, Fla.) announced that CEO Dawn Robertson has tendered her resignation and that the company accepted the resignation, though no reason has been released regarding the decision. Robertson had served as ceo for six months. Until a replacement can be found, President and COO D. Hunt Hawkins will serve as interim ceo. Hawkins has worked at Stein Mart for more than 20 years.

According to the Jacksonville Daily Record, the company plans to continue with some of the sales initiatives that were developed under Robertson’s leadership to drive sales.
