Amidst bankruptcy filing, the Body Shop (Brighton, U.K.) has closed all of its U.S. operations and is set to shutter dozens of Canadian locations, according to CNN.

Liquidation sales of 33 of its 105 Canadian stores will begin immediately and online sales through the Body Shop’s ecommerce website will stop.

The cosmetics company is filing for bankruptcy. In a 2023 report, the Body Shop was facing a year-over-year decline of 13.5 percent. In late 2023, the Body Shop was sold to Aurelius for nearly $266 million.
