Walmart Canada Corp. (Mississauga, Ont.) will begin offering grocery pickup for orders placed online in Ottawa-area stores.

The new service charges $3.00 for orders placed through the Walmart Canada website. It’s also only available for orders over $50, and they must be placed the day before the scheduled pickup.

The Vancouver Sun reports that Walmart Canada already offers pickup services for non-grocery items at more than 400 stores, but if the new service is successful, perishable pickups are planned to roll out to additional stores.
