Trimco Hires Edelman as President; RGLA Relocates; Columbia Lighting Wins Environmental Award

Management Changes:

Trimco (Brooklyn, N.Y., provider of visual merchandising materials for retailers) has hired Mitchell Edelman as its president. Edelman, a merchandising industry veteran with more than 20 years of executive management experience with packaging, display and paper companies, was also named a partner in Trimco.

Avila Design (Oakland, Calif.) has promoted Jeffrey Schmierer and Yick Chan to senior associates.

Technical Maintenance Support Inc. (Foothill Ranch, Calif., provider of digital p-o-p printing solutions) has named Cassey Scoffield gm and vp, sales, and Karl Johnson director, technical services, at its new division in Salt Lake City.

GVA Williams (Stamford, Conn., commercial realty services firm) has hired Ted Grogan as vp.

Awards:

Columbia Lighting (Spokane, Wash.) has won the 2005 Governor's Award for Pollution Prevention and Sustainable Practices from the Washington State Department of Ecology for reducing its use of toxic chemicals and fresh water, and significantly trimming its wastewater and air emissions.
