Macy’s Inc. (Cincinnati) has been presenting its annual Flower Show for more than
60 years. But that doesn’t mean it gets any easier.

This year’s “Towers of Flowers” presentation at its Herald Square department store in New York involved no fewer than five designers, 10 carpenters, four fabricators, three sculptors, six fine artists, 176 reference photos and one computerized router machine running continuously for more than 140 hours. And that’s not all! In the slideshow presentation, Paul Olszewski, Macy’s Herald Square window director, breaks down this year’s extravaganza by the numbers.
