Brandon Page

“Brandon is a natural storyteller with an innate ability to connect with those around him,” remarks Chief Brand & Creative Officer at NELSON Worldwide, Bevan Bloemendaal. “He focuses on the needs and perspectives of the humans we serve with purpose, for a better tomorrow.”

Prioritizing an open mindset rooted in mentorship, collaboration, and a positive work culture, Brandon will lead the team to create harmonious and forward-thinking work that seamlessly align with the firm’s values. On the graphics side, he will be responsible for all facets of design, from developing wayfinding to building themed retail stores.

With more than 25 years of active involvement in the design, brand, and retail community, Brandon has continuously adapted and evolved alongside the rapid changes in the industry. He has worked across the country in Baltimore, San Francisco, Seattle, Cincinnati, and Columbus with some of the most well-known brands in the world, including Target, Tiffany & Co., Nike, KFC, Buffalo Wild Wings, CVS and The Home Depot. Brandon’s long history working across hospitality and retail – from counter-service restaurants to high-end dining and big-box stores to luxury brands – gives him a comprehensive perspective and a contextual approach to any given project.

“NELSON approaches every project with the same enthusiasm, no matter the scale, and that positive outlook is what really drew me to the team,” says Brandon. “Collaboration is paramount to a strong work culture, and I look forward to fostering that connectivity in this role.”

As a long-standing fine artist and photographer, Brandon found that his creative work intertwined with that of a designer, emphasizing storytelling, building brands and creating space and place, leading him to pursue a career in the industry. He is passionate about sustainability and incorporating it beyond the built environment and through to graphic design, bringing awareness as to how we utilize our resources and driving us to weigh our choices when it comes to print versus digital.

Brandon drives inspiration from everyday life, looking outside the architecture and design industry and allowing his experiences to influence his creative expression, from reading the latest scientific research to spending time with family. Brandon earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Maryland Institute College of Art with a Minor in Art History, and previously attended Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center, a public magnet alternative high school for students interested in an intensive arts curriculum.
